My name is Camila Serrano and I’m a UI-UX designer. I create digital experiences and work with talented people to build meaningful digital products.
I worked for a couple of years in the advertising industry in Colombia. The biggest learning outcome of working in this creative industry was creating modular designs that could be implemented in different communication touch points: In-store advertising, print, TV, web, and mobile.
After seeing the big scope of design in advertising I decided to focus my career on what I enjoyed working the most: digital experiences. This seeking of new challenges and opportunities brought me to Canada and now I hold a Masters degree in Digital Media from the CDM, a joint program from UBC, SFU, BCIT and Emily Carr University.
